M. S. Coe has published two novels, New Veronia (Clash Books, 2019) and The Formation of Calcium (Spurl Editions, 2023), the latter of which debuted as the number one SPD bestseller in fiction. Coe’s stories have been published in Antioch Review, Electric Literature, Nashville Review, Waxwing, and elsewhere. Coe earned an MFA from Cornell University and co-edits the small press Eggtooth Editions. Born and raised in Boulder City, Nevada, M. S. Coe now lives in Guadalajara, Mexico.
